Language certificates for stays abroad

Language certificates for applications for exchange programs, scholarships abroad or an internship year abroad can be obtained from our coordinators following a language test. The language tests usually cover all four skills (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression).

Please note that these tests only provide an approximate assessment of your language level. They do not replace the proof of language requirements for admission to studies or the placement tests of the SPZ (for English courses). They only serve the above-mentioned purpose.

For reasons of capacity, the Language Center can unfortunately only offer a limited number of language tests. Interested students should therefore pay attention to the application deadlines of the individual scholarship and exchange programs and try to make an appointment in good time.

• Participation: A language test is only offered for students at KIT.
• Duration: Please allow approximately one hour for the language test.
• Cost: The cost is 35 euros.
• Registration: Please note that places on the individual dates are limited! You should register as early as possible.
