About us
The Language Center is the central point of contact for foreign language training at KIT. As part of the Studienkolleg organizational unit, it promotes international mobility and interdisciplinary communication for students and staff. Our team offers practice-oriented teaching in 16 languages - from Arabic to sign language - and caters for around 3000 students in 90 courses each semester.
Our range of courses includes both semester-long classes and intensive courses during the lecture-free period. This enables targeted preparation for stays abroad or international research. As an accredited UNIcert® center and a member of networks such as Eucor and AKS, the Language Center also facilitates the acquisition of internationally recognized language certificates.
Registration begins on April 13 (SignMeUp) on a first-come, first-served basis, with courses starting on April 27.
