Intensive courses during the semester break
Intensive courses will be offered from April 7 to 17, 2026 (shortly before the start of the semester).
Online registration runs until the start of the course via SignMeUp (first come, first served) and starts on March 23 at 09:00.
Please take the obligatory placement test if you have never attended an English course before.
The first course per semester is free of charge for KIT students, in this respect the courses still count for the winter semester 2025-26. For KIT employees or students of other Karlsruhe universities, the courses are generally subject to a fee (90 € per course).
All courses require active participation and continuous work on the course assignments. A prerequisite for the acquisition of credit points is a work portfolio, which must be fully completed and submitted no later than one week after the end of the course.
