Intensive Courses During the Semester Break
Intensive courses will be offered from October 12 to 23, 2026 (shortly before the start of the semester).
Online registration is open via SignMeUp until the start of the course (first come, first served) and begins on September 28 at 9:00 a.m.
Please take the mandatory placement test if you have never taken an English course before.
The first course per semester is free for KIT students; for this purpose, the courses still count toward the 2026 summer term. For KIT employees and students at other universities in Karlsruhe, the courses generally require a fee (€90 per course).
All courses require active participation and consistent completion of course assignments. To earn credit points, you must submit a work portfolio that must be fully completed and submitted no later than one week after the end of the course.
