Fees are charged for language courses for non-students of KIT (students of other Karlsruhe universities and employees).
The fee is due for payment upon registration (booking the course or exam). Anyone who does not pay the fee will be excluded from taking the course or exam. Credentials for a fee reduction must be submitted before the transfer.

Please note: A refund of the fee is only possible if you cancel before the start of the course.

The following fees apply:

For recipients of benefits according to BAföG and others, see § 2 para. 3 of the statutes.
Current fee amount (according to the amended statutes):

• All credentials that may lead to a reduction in the fee must generally be submitted before the course fee is transferred. Subsequent refunds are not possible.

• Those who have not yet received a current notification from the BAföG office by the booking date should have a provisional certificate issued by the BAföG office, which must be handed in when booking the course.

• Upload the current certificate when registering in the portal.

• The reduction is 50%.
