English Courses for Staff – Summer Semester 2026

The Language Center at KIT is once again offering English courses for staff in the Summer Semester 2026. The courses support the practical improvement of English skills for everyday professional use.

English for Everyday Communication (B1 & B2)

Courses aimed at improving general, practice-oriented communication skills in English, with a focus on speaking confidence and listening comprehension.

Schedule:

• B1: Mondays, 17:30 – 19:00
• B2: Tuesdays, 17:30 – 19:00

Period: 27 April – 28 July 2026 (13 weeks)
Location: Building 08.03, Room 113
Entry is also possible within the first three weeks after the start of the course. Please register online via SignMeUp.

English for Everyday Communication B2 Registration
 

Morning English Boost (B1+)

Course focusing on English in professional contexts (e.g. meetings, presentations, office communication). The course takes place in the morning and complements the existing evening courses.

Schedule: Tuesdays, 08:00 – 09:30
Period: 28 April – 28 July 2026 (13 weeks). The start date will be postponed by one week to 05 May. A make-up session for the first class will be announced.
Location: Building 40.50, Room 106

Morning English Boost (B1+) Registration

For participants who have not yet completed a course at the Language Center, our placement test is recommended.
