English courses for employees - summer term, summer semester 2026

The Language Center at KIT is once again offering English courses for employees in the summer term, summer semester 2026. The courses support the practical improvement of English skills in everyday working life.

English for Everyday Life (B1 & B2)

Courses to improve general, practical communication skills in English with a focus on speaking confidence and listening comprehension.

Dates:

• B1: Mondays, 17:30 - 19:00
• B2: Tuesdays, 17:30 - 19:00

Period: April 27 - July 28, 2026 (13 weeks)
Location: Building 08.03, Room 113
Registrations are still welcome after the official start on April 27. Lateral entry is possible at any time - please use the registration via the event calendar.

Morning English Boost (B1+)

Course focusing on English in a professional context (e.g. meetings, presentations, office communication). The course takes place in the morning and complements the existing evening courses.

Dates: Tuesdays, 08:00 - 09:30
Period: April 28 - July 28, 2026 (12 weeks).The start will be postponed by one week to May 05. An alternative date for the first lesson will be announced.
Location: Building 40.50, Room 106

For participants who have not yet completed a course at the Language Center, we recommend our placement test.
